Congratulations! You have completed your orthodontic treatment! As you share your newly-straightened and beautiful smile with the world, there are a few things that you should know.
A Customized Smile Just for You
Your smile is customized to YOU. In looking at various gallery pictures and ads, you may have seen a lot of “cookie cutter” smiles that look identical from person to person. When you finish your treatment at Orthodontic Avenue, your smile is uniquely designed for you. Dr Chudasama designs your smile to fit your facial structures and to give you the best possible result – a smile that naturally compliments your features.
Maintain Your Smile with Retainers
However, without proper retention, your teeth will naturally begin to shift back towards their original – and incorrect – positions, especially if you began your treatment after your facial bones have already hardened. To prevent this from occurring and to help you keep your beautiful smile straight, you will need to regularly wear a custom retainer.
There are several types of retainers available, including clear plastic retainers, fixed retainers, and Hawley retainers (retainers which consist of wires and clasps embedded in a plastic body). Our orthodontist may recommend wearing a retainer anywhere from daily to just a few nights a week, based on your retentions needs.
Retainers for Life
Even if you did not receive your initial orthodontic treatment at our office, you can still enroll in this program and enjoy the benefits of “Retainers for Life.” At Orthodontic Avenue, we are proud to offer a “Retainers for Life” program. If your retainer is broken, lost, or worn-out and the teeth have not shifted, we are happy to replace it for you under the “Retainers for Life” program.
We invite you to call us today at 972-899-5455 to schedule your FREE consultation with Dr. Dipak Chudasama and learn more about retainers in Coppell, Texas.
